Focus of Study : The General English course is for students who want to learn practical English for everyday life. Students will learn English more quickly and improve their speaking skills by Discussing interesting topics, Doing exciting activities and Interacting with Americans in-class.

-Learn quickly by practicing with an American intern in class every week
-Receive more attention from the teacher - only 12 students per teacher
-With 10 General English levels, you will study with students at the same skill level

Students will learn idioms and phases by talking with American interns every week and recording themselves on voice recorders in Speaking Class. Independent Housing Options Independent Housing Options are a great value and close to Intrax.Students must contact their preferred housing and book it for themselves. Options include Orange village Hostel, Sheldon Hotel, and Rexidence-Fillmore Center
Homestay Accommodation Living with an American family is a unique way to experience American traditions and culture first-hand. The students will practice their English language skills with real Americans every day. Homestay Accommodation has single rooms or rooms with roommates. Most families provide the students with breakfast and dinner every week (14 meals). The students must give at least 4 weeks’ notice before they arrive to make sure that their homestay is available and reserved. If they have any questions about living with an American family, they can contact the Housing Coordinator.
Residence Club Accommodation The students will enjoy an independent living situation with an international atmosphere, dormitory-style housing and meal options or shared kitchen. Residence clubs also provide an opportunity to get to know students and travelers from all over the world.

Intrax Chicago has an Activity Corner where the students can find out about interesting activities, local tours, events, and more about local transportation. Intrax Chicago is Located on the world-famous Michigan Avenue. There are the city's most prestigious dining, shopping, and architectural landmarks. It takes one block away from Millennium Park and close to Lake Michigan. Lastly, it is close to all public transportation including, bus, METRA train and the "L" train.
