The International English as a Second Language Program at Lane Community College is also well known for its experienced instructors and high standards in preparing students for transferring to credit programs and meeting their individual goals. Community colleges usually have arrangements with universities so that the credits students earn during their two years of study at community colleges are easily transferable to allow students to finish the last two years of their four-year bachelor's degree at a university of their choice.
