Students of AEI can expect teachers who are both professional and experienced. All the ESL instructors are native speakers of English. The minimum requirement for teachers is 2-3 years teaching experience, relevant baccalaureate degree, and a TESOL certificate. However, the average number of years of teaching experience is much higher and the majority of the school's faculty members have advanced degrees. Adding to these high qualifications, teachers and staff regularly participate in AEI’s professional development program. By having continuing education as a requirement, AEI aims to keep both staff and instructors abreast of the latest research and practices relevant to their field.

While both tracks (15 hour/week and 18 hour/week) have inherent excellence, the IEP has the advantage of three hours of opportunity to further enhance your language proficiency. Whether students enroll in the course or program, there are seven levels of study to help them achieve their language goals. Carefully tailored to maximize results, the IEC or IEP gives students quality communication skills for the 21st century!
Curriculum : Intensive English Course (15 hours per week) plus Scholar’s Course (3 hours per week) The Intensive English Program (IEP) is a par excellence program for intensive English students. In addition to the 15-hour Intensive English Course (see above), students attend specialized three-hour Scholar’s Courses. With their focus on pronunciation (beginning), listening and speaking (intermediate) and understanding American culture (advanced), these courses are the perfect complement to the Intensive English Course. Upon completion of this exemplary 18-hour program, students will have the communication skills and confidence needed for success in all facets of American life.The program is divided into 7 levels.
