Pierce College is an accredited two-year community college in beautiful Washington state. Established in 1967, Pierce College has two campuses, one in Lakewood and one in Puyallup. Both are located about 45 minutes from Seattle. Pierce College is a community college district operating in and serving Pierce County in the U.S. state of Washington. The district consists of two main colleges, Pierce College Fort Steilacoom in Lakewood and Pierce College Puyallup in Puyallup, and auxiliary campuses at Fort Lewis, McChord Air Force Base, and in South Hill. Pierce College offers associate's degrees, mainly in the arts and sciences. There are also certificate programs in early childhood education, social services, dental hygienist, and others. Classes are held on the quarter system. Pierce College creates quality educational opportunities for a diverse community of learners to thrive in an evolving world.
