ELS/Miami is located on the campus of Barry University just 20 minutes from exciting downtown Miami. With year-round sunshine, blue ocean waters and white sand beaches,
the area is known for its outdoor activities, such as snorkeling, jet skiing, water skiing and boating. The popular Florida tourist destinations of Orlando and Key West are close enough for weekend trips.
Miami has hot summers (June, July and August) and mild winters. Students should bring appropriate clothing and prepare for occasional rains.
