Conditional Admission
Associate, Certificate and Diploma programs accept students with over 112 level in ELS. With over level 112 in ELS, students can be accepted to Bachelor, Master and Doctorate's programs. Both Undergraduate and Graduate schools issue a CLA to students.

Meals:14 meals per week. Students are provided breakfast and dinner on school days. On weekends, families provide breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Description: Some homestay families are walking distance to the campus (2 miles or less). Families that are further away may require a bus ride. In some cases, host families may provide transportation, although not required. Home types vary.
ELS students are assigned single rooms, some with shared bathrooms. All homes have air conditioning and wireless internet. ELS students will have access to kitchen and laundry areas in the home.Some homes provide students with a private studio style room outside of the main house. These can be reserved with advanced request.

Surrounding Area
ELS/Miami is located on the campus of Barry University just 20 minutes from exciting downtown Miami. With year-round sunshine, blue ocean waters and white sand beaches,
the area is known for its outdoor activities, such as snorkeling, jet skiing, water skiing and boating. The popular Florida tourist destinations of Orlando and Key West are close enough for weekend trips.
Miami has hot summers (June, July and August) and mild winters. Students should bring appropriate clothing and prepare for occasional rains.
