Curriculum : The development of important language skills and elements, such as listening, speaking,
pronunciation and vocabulary, allows him to communicate accurately and effectively.
Students practice conversation and other speaking skills using practical, real-world English. Students learn to write with accuracy and effectiveness, develop strategic listening skills and improve your use of grammar.
Students work on his individual language skills and objectives through technology-supported learning in our modern Language Technology Centers.

Description: The Homestay program at ELS/Indianapolis has numerous homestays who have years of experience hosting ELS students. ELS Homestay students have a wonderful opportunity to learn about life in an American home, Indianapolis history, and American culture. The goal for the Homestay program at ELS Indianapolis is to provide an enriching cultural experience and exchange for our students. Living in an ELS Homestay, students practice English in the most meaningful context of all - real life.
ELS students in the Homestay program take the IndyGo buses to the Center. The homestay host will explain and show the student the bus route, pick-up/drop-off location, and scheduled times. Using the bus system also allows the student more flexibility in getting to ELS each day and to other locations around Indianapolis.
Surrounding Area
ELS/Indianapolis is located in downtown Indianapolis with its business, shopping and entertainment. Professional sporting events, concerts, museums and other cultural festivals are a 5 to 10 minute walk from the heart of downtown. ELS center is just four blocks from the prestigious urban campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Indianapolis, the capital of the state of Indiana, has a reputation for safety, a low cost of living, cleanliness, world-class sports and hospitality which attract many international students, visitors and businesses.
