Majority of the students come from Asian countries including Japan (30%), Taiwan (25%) and Korea (20%). Conditional Admission
With over level 112 in ELS, students can be accepted to Bachelor and Master's programs. Both Undergraduate and Graduate schools issue a CLA to students.

Our experienced homestay coordinator has an office next to ELS, and always encourages our students to meet to assure they are havving the best possible experience while here in St. Pete's. Our kind and caring host families provide our students with transportation to and from the Center for classes and activities.

Description: The ESL Townhouse is located in the heart of Boston. Great shopping and restaurants are just minutes away. Recreational fields and a nature preserve are across from the residence. The ESL Townhouse is a 10-minute walk to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum and Fenway Park for the Boston Red Sox baseball team. It is also a short walk to the Newbury Street shopping district and Boston Symphony Hall. Many of Boston's top universities and hospitals surround this residence. ELS students are housed in a two bedroom apartment. One bedroom in each apartment is single-occupancy and the other is double-occupancy.

ELS/Boston-Downtown is located on Tremont Street, at the crossroads of Beacon Hill and Downtown Crossing. The Boston Commons, Government Center, Theater District and Chinatown are all within walking distance from the Center. Our school is also close to the Back Bay area-with many major universities, restaurants, museums, shopping and other tourist attractions. One of the major cities with extensive historical background, Boston offers various museums with historic and cultural attractions and Ivy league universities in Boston. Students can choose to enjoy beaches on Cape Cod or to ski in New England.The Boston area has warm summers (June to August) and cold winters (November through February). Spring and Autumn are quire pleasant, but with occasional rain. Students should bring appropriate clothing.
