In 1993, a group of American scholars teaching English abroad created the Hello World teaching method, a systematic approach that is student-centered and content-based.  Based on the premise that learning a language requires more than just the rote memorization of grammar, vocabulary, and syntax, Hello World Language Center emphasizes the importance of gaining a deep understanding and respect for a culture.  As a result, students at Hello World are encouraged not only to improve their English language skills, but also to learn about American culture.  In this way, we believe that students are more motivated to acquire and retain their language skills.
