Schiller Language School is a German language school based in Berlin (current capital of Germany) and Bonn (former capital) and was founded with the aim of preparing international students for university admission and their life in Germany. Our teachers are specialised in preparing students for the university entrance examinations TestDaF and DSH as well as for Studienkolleg. Once you passed our language course and the examination, we will help you to find the best university fitting your needs and get you an offer from this university. Schiller Language School offers German language courses for university preparation combined with strong visa-support and university admission services for people who wish to study in Germany.

Accommodation

We offer three types of accommodation placement: Single room in shared flat (institute's dormitories), own apartment, host family stay. Single room in shared flat (500€ placement fee - Deposit 900€) ✔ Monthly fees of 500€ - 700€ cover water and electricity ✔ Free WIFI available ✔ Small single room (14-20 m²) with bed, table, chair, closet ✔ Shared bathroom and kitchen (furnished) ✔ 25-45 minutes distance to school Own apartment (750€ placement fee) ✔ Monthly fees of 800€ or more (balance payments for water and electricity depending one used amount) ✔ Internet connection might require seperate contract ✔ Own room, own bathroom, own kitchen (fully furnished) ✔ Size and location differ (based on availability) ✔ 25-50 minutes distance to school Host family stay (750€ placement fee) ✔ Monthly fees of 550€ cover water, electricity and breakfast ✔ Internet connection might require seperate contract ✔ Small single room (14-20 m²) with bed, table, chair, closet ✔ Shared bathroom and kitchen (furnished) ✔ Limited availability (kindly enquire at accommodation@schiller-language-school.com) ✔ 25-50 minutes distance to school

Surrounding Area

Bonn, the former capital of Germany, is located close to Cologne in the West of Germany. Looking back on a history of more than 2000 years, Bonn is one of the oldest cities in Germany. With about 310000 citizens Bonn is smaller than other big cities in Germany, but benefits from a modern infrastructure (airport, day and night buses, train, subway), beautiful landscapes and superior cultural attractions. Bonn is located at the Rhine which is one of Germany's most beautiful rivers and invites visitors with its famous Rheinaue wetlands to enjoy barbeque and to take a walk through its fascinating landscape. Bonn is also close to other European countries such as Italy, Spain, France and UK which you can easily reach by train, airplane or car.

Activity

Apart from the city's historic shape Bonn also features many hot spots for sightseeing and experiencing arts and tradition. You might like to visit the birth place of the famous musician Beethoven, go to the opera, theatre or one of the many museums. Of course you can also enjoy one of the bars, clubs and restaurants of Bonn.
