Why This School?
  Burnaby School District About the

Burnaby  Secondary School.

Alpha and Byrne Creek are semester schools which means they have new classes starting in February and students can start earning credits right away. Burnaby South, Burnaby North, Burnaby Mountain, Moscrop and Cariboo are all linear schools. Students are welcome to join these schools in February however the student will not be able to earn any credits for the work they complete from February till June. As your students are younger (Grade 10 and Grade 8) the missing credits are not a very big issue. They can easily make them up in the folllowing years and are not considered when it comes time for students to apply to colleges and universities.
