Every Friday we have an activity for Students which includes power point presentation about famous people in their country or different products or about famous tradition & modern or ancient restaurants in their countries etc...., group discussions, debates, conversation about various topics given by the teachers, watching short stories and speaking about their observations and leanings, writing travel blog etc.
Apart from Every week’s activity we also Celebrate the Indian Festival along with the students to know them the Indian culture, Tradition, Customs, Values of the Festival. Here is the glimpse of it:
At the time of Diwali celebration we performed a speech about Diwali. Students had act upon a Play on Ramayana (mythological), Some students had sung in English & Portuguese Language. We also had played the vocabulary games wherein everyone has to guess the correct words. Thereafter, we had the Rangoli competition, at the time of Diwali all Indians draw Rangoli to welcome the guests. Burning the crackers was also the part of the enjoyment.
Few days back we Celebrated Christmas, we had arranged a party at a Banquet with an Indian theme. It was full of activities such as singing Christmas songs, speech on Christmas celebration in different countries. Students had also shown their talents by performing activities they are good into such as playing music, performing dance, etc. Puppet show was also arranged for their entertainment. Secret Santa was played wherein gifts were exchanged and student spoke few words about that person while giving gift. Everyone enjoyed.
