The two cities have a reputation for safety, cleanliness and low-cost living in a friendly Midwestern environment. The Mall of America retail complex is close by. Minnesota has 4 distinct seasons with hot summers (June, July and August) and cold winters (November through February). Students should bring appropriate clothing.
