With over level 112 in ELS, students can be accepted to Bachelor and Master's programs at Queens University of Charlotte. Both Undergraduate and Graduate schools issue a CLA to students.

Being able to communicate effectively in English can help students make the most of these opportunities and enable student to accomplish his dreams. ELS International Pathways provide one with a seamless journey to further education. Students can study English with ELS in 83 different locations in 11 countries. By completing the ELS English for Academic Purposes program, student satisfy the English requirement for more than 650 ELS partner universities worldwide. ELS University Admission Services will guide students from start to finish as he progress toward his chosen university. Students will make new friends from around the world and come to understand their cultures. This will ensure one a successful journey through a rapidly changing, globalizing world.
ELS/Charlotte is located next to the Johnson & Wales University - Charlotte Campus. ELS students have access to campus facilities. The Center is in a beautiful urban location in Charlotte's vibrant Uptown City Center, close to many cultural, sports and entertainment attractions. The newly-designed and renovated Center features a lobby, 11 spacious and very comfortable classrooms, a 25-station Language Technology Center with room for future expansion, five administrative offices and two student lounges. Students can access dining and shopping within walking distance or a short ride on the "Goldrusher," Charlotte's free Uptown public trolley-bus system. Charlotte, the second largest financial center in the U.S., is a medium-sized city, but has all of the big-city services that students desire. It is the largest city in the southeastern U.S. between Washington, D.C., and Atlanta, GA.

Meals: 14 meals per week. Breakfast and dinner are meals included in the homestay program. Breakfast is often a self-help breakfast and is typically continental-style. Meals on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) may be brunch (a combination of breakfast and lunch often eaten late morning) and dinner.

Description: Living with an American host is one of the best ways for students to learn about American culture and improve their English abilities. Students are placed with hosts who care about their students and want to help them to learn and practice English. Homes are located with access nearby to city bus stops that enable students to take public bus transportation to and from the ELS Center when the student purchases a bus pass. Most bus passes provide unlimited travel by the week or by the month. This allows students to not only travel to and from ELS, but it allows them to explore Charlotte in their free time and enjoy many of the attractions that city has to offer.
